Why choose Therapy In Motion?
Top 10 Reasons to Choose Therapy In Motion
Therapy In Motion has been voted the best place for Physical Therapy by Norman Transcript readers in 2014 & 2015!
We realize that you have the choice of where you would like to receive your physical therapy care. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. Realizing that our patients deserve the best physical therapy possible, we offer the following:
1. Educated and Competent Staff
Our professional staff is superior. We are the only clinic in Norman that has four physical therapists who have earned their doctorate degree. Our Newcastle and Purcell clinics are managed by DPTs. Collectively, our staff offers over 110 years of clinical experience and each therapist attends regular continuing education opportunities providing patients with the most current and evidenced based treatment available.
2. “Hands On” Therapy
Our therapists provide manual therapy with specific massage, myofascial release, strain/counter-strain, manual muscle stretching and facilitation and inhibition techniques. A variety of joint mobilization techniques including muscle energy, functional energy, direct and indirect procedures, and craniosacral therapy are utilized in patient care.
3. One-on-One Patient Care
Therapy In Motion is dedicated to one-on-one individual care. Therapists have ample time to provide comprehensive evaluations, educate patients, develop individual treatment plans, and implement individualized therapeutic exercise regimes.
4. Evidence Based Treatment
We routinely provide evidenced based practice and integrate research findings into our evaluations and intervention with our patients. Weekly staff meetings are scheduled to collectively evaluate complex patients, review the most recent research and literature, share continuing education experiences and participate in student intern presentations.
5. Excellent Physician Communication
Initial evaluations are dictated and faxed to referral sources to provide prompt written communication. Progress notes are faxed or hand carried by the patient for follow up appointments. Physicians are telephoned or texted if there is an urgent need and pictures of suspected infections or unusual visually observed symptoms will be emailed to physicians.
6. Patient Satisfaction
Therapy In Motion has designated patient care representatives who routinely meet with and call patients throughout their treatment process. The patient care representatives at each location gather feedback and field patient questions and concerns, providing proactive exemplary customer service. Survey results indicate that over 95% of our patients are extremely satisfied with their overall experience at Therapy In Motion.
